Delivering Real Results

Fixing What’s Not Working in Clark County

Clark County is facing real challenges—and too often, government hasn’t kept up. I’ve focused on fixing what’s not working and delivering practical results.

Taking Real Action on Homelessness

  • Serve as Chair of a regional group that brings cities, nonprofits, and service providers together to improve coordination
  • Pushed for a more honest, data-driven approach to identifying gaps in our homelessness response

Protecting and Expanding Housing Options

  • Initiated a pause on redevelopment of mobile home parks to prevent displacement of vulnerable residents
  • Helped pass policies to allow duplexes, townhomes, and accessory units in more neighborhoods
  • Helped move forward low-income senior housing in Felida, with access to medical and social services
  • Supported programs like down payment assistance to help working families achieve homeownership

Fixing a Broken Permitting System

  • Pushed for faster, more predictable permitting—reducing delays and helping lower the cost of housing
  • Advocated for practical changes that help homeowners, contractors, and small businesses move projects forward

Improving Public Safety and Accountability

  • Supported investments in law enforcement, behavioral health, and the justice system
  • Approved body-worn cameras to increase transparency and accountability
  • Backed a balanced approach that addresses both crime and the root causes behind it

Responding to the Fentanyl, Addiction, and Homelessness Crisis

  • Pushed for stronger recognition of the overdose crisis and the need for urgent action
  • Supported expanded treatment, recovery, and behavioral health services
  • Focused on changing the trajectory of the crisis through better coordination and response
  • Worked to better align homelessness response efforts with addiction and behavioral health solutions

Getting Government to Work Together Again

  • Helped improve collaboration between the County and cities, breaking down barriers that slowed progress
  • Advanced regional coordination on homelessness, housing, and long-term planning
  • Focused on solutions—not politics—to get things done across jurisdictions

Delivering Practical Improvements for Daily Life
